ha Pelayori , i install the plugin , load like it should, but im getting this ......
09/19/24 07:54 [RconCrossServerChat][error] Failed To Connect To Ark Server Rcon 127.0.0.1:30080 Error: 0, Trying again in 3 minute(s).

what im doing wrong ?

For those wondering if it cannot send, use other local ips/global ips rather than 127.0.0.1

for those of you coming late to the game like I did here some notes...
1) If your like me and use ASM to manage your servers make sure you use your LOCAL IP "192.xxx.xxx.xxx" of the machine your servers run on. Global/Public IP does not work.
2). Make sure you use the same chat key for all your maps.
3). Leave a space or a ( ) after the name of the map if your giving each map a unique name Example: (Ragnarok). otherwise the text just runs on top of each other in the chat box
4). Every map needs to have RCON enabled and each map needs to have a unique rcon port
5). vsync needs to be True
6). make sure you have installed ARK api in your config files.
7). if you host all 12 servers make sure your list of IPs has 11 different rcon ports. if you add the 12th (the port of the map to its respective json) the message will repeat itself.

if you have any other issues let me know. these things are so terribly explained and takes tinkering.

If it is not and you have compiled everything yourself, could you explain what that is, and why it appears as malware?

I don't know what that specific malware code stands for, but it's 1 out of all the AVs triggering it so it isn't very representative. It could be a false positive due to the way the plugin uses the windows socket libraries that makes the anti virus thinks I'm collecting user data when it relays the chat over RCON.
