Design your config.json
Pick a distribution mode in step 1, check the projected level spread in the preview panel, then download. Steps 2–6 are optional—their defaults already match the plugin’s shipped config. Runs fully offline. Place the finished file at ArkApi/Plugins/SpawnDistributionPlus/config.json.

Choose a level distribution
Start with a safe preset, then adjust it to suit your server.

Base levels are ARK engine indices. The displayed-level preview uses your multiplier only as a guide; verify real results with dinolevels.
2Distribution behaviour
These defaults suit most servers; descriptions explain when to change them.

Enable Spawn Distribution PlusTurn off to leave all level rolls untouched while commands stay loaded.
Rewrite standard four-band rangesApply the configured ranges to ARK's canonical layout.
Apply weights to non-standard creaturesKeep their native ranges while safely mapping your four chances.
Reverse chances for apex creaturesReverses low through high chances for dinos in the apex list.
Must be greater than 0 and at most 1000.
3Map and dino overrides
Optional: use a different profile for one map or creature. Dino rules take final priority.

Patterns are case-insensitive. Use * for any text and ? for one character; the most specific match wins.

Require adminRecommended: restrict player chat and console commands to admins.
Enable level reportsAllows the level-list command to write wild-dino reports.
Include blueprint identifiersUseful when building override and creature patterns.
Minimum and maximum; use 0 for no upper limit.
Changing command names requires a full server restart. A config reload cannot safely re-register commands.
6Advanced options
Uniform levels, extended-creature experiments, logging, and safety limits.

Uniform custom level generationAdvanced alternative that bypasses weighted bands.
Must be greater than zero when enabled; the plugin deliberately does not guess this.
Advanced: verified on ARK 92.25 as of release 1.2. This changes how levels are spread inside each band, not the bands themselves. Confirm the result on your own server with dinolevels before relying on it.
Extended creature interpolationTargets native interpolation for exact matching map/dino layouts.

Range rewriting and safety
Rewrite exact extended rangesScales the four configured 1–30 bands into ARK's exact 1–38 layout.
Restore ARK entries after every rollMandatory safety behaviour; included explicitly for clarity.
Debug loggingLog every failure; leave off for normal servers.
